Dutch Braid

A lot of people learn to create a classic braid by separating hair into three strands, then taking one side strand and putting it over the middle strand. Then taking the other side strand and putting it over the new middle strand. Then you would repeat the process until you reached the end of your hair. A Dutch braid is doing a classic braid backwards and also adding hair into it.

You start your Dutch braid by taking three small strands towards the top of your head. Take the right strand under the middle strand and tighten it. Then, take the left strand under the new middle strand that was the right strand and tighten. Repeat this process but add hair to each strand as you put it underneath the middle strand and tighten it. Continue until you have no hair left to add. Your hair should look like the picture to the right.

NOTE: The loose strands in the picture are my curtain bangs.
